Vanessa is from Jersey City, New Jersey. She attended McNair Academic High School, where she was a three-year letter winner in at first singles, winning county competitions as a freshman. While competing, she was ranked in the top 10 for the USTA's Junior Girls 18 and Under in New Jersey. She went on to play Division 1 tennis (singles and doubles) at Rider University on a tennis scholarship, playing at first singles all four years, and graduated with a B.A. in Graphic Design. Vanessa's experience has shaped her philosophy about the sport. She believes that tennis is a game that rewards creative, disciplined, and devoted athletes. Vanessa shares her passion and interest in tennis with any student that is willing to put in the work or dedication.

Chris began his tennis journey at an early age, training full-time at the renowned Nick Bolletieri Tennis Academy. Under the guidance of world-class coaches, he competed alongside some of the top junior players in the world. By the end of his sophomore year, Chris had earned a top 30 ranking in the boys 16s category in Florida and was one of five players personally selected by Nick Bolletieri to represent the Academy in a New England tournament team.
Continuing his passion for the sport in college, Chris taught at Break Point Tennis Center (now Match Point) in Brooklyn, NY, and spent his summers coaching juniors and adults at the Montauk Yacht Club.

Mariam started her tennis career at a very young age, leading her to hold the #1 ranking in the U16 category in Armenia and becoming the #1 player in the Argentinian National Women’s Professional Ranking in 2019. Her international experience includes competing in the Junior Olympics U14, the European Junior Championship U16, and professional tournaments, where she went head-to-head against top players, including Aryna Sabalenka.
As a student-athlete, Mariam competed at Montreat College and Anderson University playing in the #1 position. She contributed to Anderson University’s first-ever #20 national ranking and leading the team to significant achievements, including the SAC tournament and the AAC Conference Championship. Her personal accomplishments include an undefeated singles record in conference and nationals play at Montreat and a #56 ITA Division II Individual Ranking in 2023.
In addition to her playing career, Mariam has notable coaching experience working with juniors, adults, and competitive players. She focuses on fostering player development through personalized coaching strategies, improving technical skills, enhancing mental resilience, and optimizing overall performance to help players achieve their tennis goals.
Marius has been a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional since 1996. He was a nationally ranked Junior and Collegiate player from Romania. Marius brings over 25 years of coaching experience to EBRC. Marius can be found on the court training with juniors and adults of all levels.

He was a former ranked professional tennis player representing Argentina in the Junior Davis Cup. He achieved victories over players such as Marcelo Filipini (former #30 world ranking), Jaime Izaga (former #18), and Sergio Cortes (former #114). He also played against Thomas Muster (#1 ATP), Franco Davin (#30 ATP), and Horacio de la Peña (#31 ATP). He earned a full tennis scholarship in the United States, but ended up returning back to his home country due to family circumstances, going on to pursue a career as a paddle tennis player, reaching #6 in the world.
